Delete Your Account

Effective date: May 17, 2026

You can permanently delete your What A Team account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens when you do.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app:

1. Open What A Team and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap “Delete my account”.
4. Confirm the action.

The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app (for example, you’ve uninstalled it or lost access to your sign-in method), you can request deletion by email:

• Send an email to: raphsoft@gmail.com
• Subject line: Account Deletion Request
• From: the email address associated with your account
• Include: the display name on your account, so we can verify your identity

Requests submitted by email are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed:

• Your profile in our database — display name, authentication identifier, and profile timestamps
• Your Firebase Authentication record — which holds the email address you signed in with via Apple or Google
• Your team membership — you are removed from any team you belong to
• High Fives you’ve sent and received — including the value, message text, sender, recipient, and timestamps
• Your notification token — used to deliver push notifications
• Any team you created as the sole creator, including its configuration, members, and full High Five history

What We Retain

We may retain:

• Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you
• Records we are legally required to keep under applicable law

We do not retain personal data beyond what is strictly necessary.
